Blackstone Education Foundation Mission Statement:
The Blackstone Education Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization (EIN # 16-1616100) dedicated to the preservation, documentation and proliferation of America's musical art form, known as jazz. In its brief existence Blackstone has already collaborated with Berklee College of Music, Mapex Drums, Bosphorus Cymbals and other organizations like Wyclef Jean's Clef's Kids, providing instruments at little or no cost, mentoring and music history and appreciation for young people throughout the United States and Around the world.
The Foundation will champion jazz music and America's youth, bringing them together in ways that will benefit the students as individuals and their communities as a whole, by giving away scholarships, computers or instruments to deserving students.
